School Uniform

Where can we buy uniform from?

Is it ok to buy generic school uniform from supermarkets and department stores?

Yes, parents are asked to purchase school badges from the school office for £1.25 to attach to generic jumpers, hoodies and polo-shirts.

What shoes should my child wear?

At Greatworth, we like our children to be ready for physical activity at all times. We ask that children wear trainers to school, or a sensible black school shoe. No 'dolly shoes' please.

Is there a PE kit?

Parents are asked to buy a Greatworth PE shirt which can be purchased from the school office or the suppliers listed above.
Greatworth hoodies are compulsory for PE  and available from the suppliers listed above. Some parents may choose to buy a generic navy-blue hoodie and attach a school badge.
Children can wear plain blue or black tracksuit bottoms, blue shorts (from suppliers), blue or black cycling shorts or leggings for PE.
Children are asked to come into school wearing their PE kits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Trainers should be worn for PE. On Tuesdays, parents are requested to send additional outside trainers to prevent mud being brought into school.

Is there a summer uniform?

In summer, generic blue gingham summer dresses and shorts can be purchased and worn. (they do not need badges attaching).

Is second-hand uniform available to buy?

Second hand uniform is available to buy on the last Friday of every month after assembly or alternatively contact the school office to request items.

Does my child need to wear school uniform on school trips?

Children should always wear smart school uniform for trips unless they are going to the farm. This will be communicated in letters before the trip.
